This advanced European On Board Diagnostics (EOBD) scan software meets the recent MOT2 requirements. Besides performing the well-known Readiness test, it is equipped with OBFCM (On board Fuel Consumption Monitoring) software, including automatic reporting to the RDW. The OBFCM software takes care of reading fuel/energy consumption and sends this data directly to the RDW.

As of May 20, 2023, OBFCM is part of the new European legislation and will also be included in the new MOT regulations.

Autocom AIR, a cloud-based application, offers very user-friendly software. The vehicle is easily and quickly read by connecting the supplied interface - Autocom ICON - to the OBD connector in the vehicle. The software communicates wirelessly with the vehicle. In addition to comprehensive EOBD functions for MOT, the software provides control options to quickly and easily check for manipulation of the vehicle's VIN and mileage. It scans all systems present in the vehicle for fault codes, VIN and odometer readings.

With a quick VIN check in all control modules and detection of potentially manipulated odometer readings, this Fraud Check software is ideal as an additional service for the customer or for personal use when purchasing or trading in vehicles. The RDW also uses this Fraud Check software on a daily basis for vehicles imported into the Netherlands.

In addition, the Autocom AIR offers the ability to read and clear fault codes. With the Live Data function, current values of sensors can also be displayed.
