The EPB system, also known as the electronic parking brake or handbrake, is a system that is increasingly being used in cars. Cars with such a handbrake system need a diagnostic tool when replacing the brake pads to release the handbrake and deactivate the brake calipers, so that the brake pads can be replaced without any problems.
