Returns and refunds
When purchasing an OBD cable or reader, you have the right to return your order up to 14 days after receipt, without giving reasons. After notification of your return by e-mail, you have another 14 days to return your product. You will then be credited with the full purchase amount, provided everything is in order. Only the costs for returning from your home to the webshop are for your own account.
If you make use of your right of withdrawal, you must handle the product and the packaging with care. You should only unpack or use the product to the extent necessary to assess whether you wish to keep the product. If you decide to return the item, the product must be returned to Carvitas with all accessories supplied and - if reasonably possible - in the original condition and packaging.

What are the return conditions?
- All supplied packaging materials must be included.
- All cables, manuals etc. must be present as supplied.
- Everything must be packed in the plastic as supplied.
- The returned item must include (a copy of) the purchase invoice.
- The product must contain absolutely no traces of use.
- The product must be properly packaged in a sturdy outer box when returning.

As soon as the return shipment has been received by us, we will assess the return shipment and refund the purchase amount within 14 days, provided that the product meets the return conditions.

How do I return my item?
Always return your items via the post office with registered mail, then you will receive a proof of shipment and it is possible to check the return shipment. Carvitas takes no responsibility if the package is lost. So keep the proof of postage carefully.
Please note, DPD does not deliver to our address, any other carrier is no problem.
What should I do if I have received a damaged or defective item?
If you have received a damaged item or a part is defective, please contact a Carvitas employee, this is possible up to 4 weeks after receipt of your purchase.
When will I receive my refund?
Once the package has reached us, we will process your return as soon as possible. This usually takes 1-2 business days. When everything is in order, we will credit the order and refund immediately. The processing of the refund differs per bank or payment method, this can be instant up to 3 working days.
How do I receive my refund?
If a return has been processed and approved, we will refund it in the same way that this order was paid to us.
When choosing Klarna payment, the invoice will be adjusted and a refund will be made on behalf of Klarna if the invoice has already been paid. If you have not yet paid the Klarn invoice, the invoice will be adjusted and a new invoice will be sent by email.
